The Dialog
The program is a History Museum of two different stories of Korea . It is composed by the collaboration between two different points of view and telling the reconstitution, similarity, and confliction of the integrated imaginary spaces in memories. The sign and hints of the spaces exist within the story and cause the plentiful, deepened, and enriched storyline that forms interrelation, depth, and density of spaces. The programmatically spaces are deepened by these elements as our memories. The programs are details or moments that composed of the story such as the relation and condition of existence of memories.
It’s initial propose is to revers the idea of tunnel to cause another invasion in our own way of understanding. The place can be described as a museum or archive where people lose and gain the information to chase their desires and the ideas of belonging. Space will provide another term of anguish while decision making certain point of view between individuality and many others. As we experienced exercised to retrace the course of our life time, then different version of chambers will offer and stimulate us the standard to determine factors in our choice of fixed ideas. In another side of tunnel, the vestige of history between South and North will be buried as an archive and shelter at the same time.
Some memories remains as sounds, symptoms, images, scents, touches, taste, or feelings. Some of them stay as paused memory, or other gets changes and remained. Some are only judgment. The form of memory depends on the situation how the memory got made, it gets to change and distort at the moment. The memory gets changed constantly, if myself is visible in my memory, my brain already changed the memory as how I want to remember. I don’t get to see myself in it, when it forms. When others remember as white, it’s possible to remember as blue. The strong visual shock from white could have felt as little bit of blue. The impression of color changed the color in memory.
